HELLO,
I’M ANNA JARA
a fashion management and marketing senior at Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating in May. Over the past four years, I’ve served as the Fashion Director of SCAD Manor, one of the only nationally recognized, student-run fashion publications in the country, where I’ve led editorial direction, styling, and brand storytelling from concept to execution.
My work sits at the intersection of creativity and strategy. Through SCAD Manor and my styling internship at Interview Magazine, I’ve learned how to translate editorial vision into real-world execution, balancing aesthetics, narrative, and audience with intention. I’m especially interested in how fashion media shapes culture and how strong visual storytelling builds lasting brand identity.
In addition to editorial work, I’ve spent nearly a decade in customer-facing retail, from large companies like Nordstrom to independent boutiques. That experience has shaped how I communicate, adapt quickly, and collaborate across teams. I’m also a Fashion Director for the SCAD Fashion Media Team, where I focus on social media strategy, event coverage, and hosting workshops for fellow students.
Across everything I do, I’m driven by thoughtful storytelling, leadership, and a desire to build brands that feel both culturally relevant and creatively grounded.
